 ====== Rules Pertaining to HiWis ======
+Here at MCh, we follow a philosophy that every HiWi is a new potential PhD student. Whenever a new HiWi starts their work at MCh, their supervisor needs to introduce them to all group members, so they know a new face is going to start appearing at MCh from then.
+The following rules apply:
+  * responsibility for the HiWi falls on their supervisor
+  * supervisors need to check whether their HiWis act responsibly and in compliance with the MCh rules
+  * HiWis cannot start working in laboratories before they receive appropriate [[mchadmin:safety|safety trainings]]
+Among scientific tasks, HiWis are also expected to provide support to general MCh activities such as copying materials, exam support, moving or delivering stuff etc.
