 The summer meeting is often combined with an excursion, often to the RWTH Rursee Rowing Club House in the Eifel mountains.
 The excursion regularly contains water sports, beach volleyball and/or football games as well as a barbecue. Sleeping in tents as well as in the club house is possible.
 The planning meeting also takes place in the seminar room of the club house.

 The winter meeting usually is held in the MCh seminar room in the days before the Christmas party in the second week in December.

 MCh organizes excursions on an irregular basis. Generally, we aim at a one day program for all staff members including student assistants (HiWis) and students where we visit an industrial site or a research facility, combined with a touristic part in the afternoon.
